DEER LODGE EVENT HIGHLIGHTED

Riders test their skill on 1,600 lbs of buck

Friday night was filled with excitement as many attended the 8th annual Bull-A-Rama sponsored by the Rock Creek Cattle Company at the Powell County Fairgrounds. In addition to the bulls, there was also saddle bronc riding, mutton bustin’ and the chicken chase.

First Long Round
First - Brandon Wallentine (Pocatello, ID), score: 82.5, prize: $1,128.60 / Second - CJ Santana (White- fish), score: 82, prize: $846.45 / Third - Montana Barlow (Jerome, ID), score: 80, prize: $564.30 / Fourth - Bryce Burnell (Buffalo, WY), score: 78,  prize: $282.15.

Second Long Round
First - Jess Lockwood (Volborg), score: 86,  prize: $1,692.90 / Second - Ben Hilpert (Great Falls) score: 75.5, prize: $1,128.60.

Clockwise from above: Levi Henderson was the first rider of the evening, but had trouble staying on. Clay Applegate of Deer Lodge was excited as he started his ride. Jason Anderson held on as the bull got close to the fence. Sheep fighter Jaxon Kruzich gave the sheep Scott Martin was riding a kickstart. Garrett Smith of Deer Lodge took a break as a bull fighter to do some saddle bronc riding. Palmer Kellicut held on to his sheep. Many children chased four chickens  around the area to try to catch them and take them home. Kirby Shindurling got ready to ride the sheep. Garrett Prince of Drummond lost his grip during the saddle bronc ride. Bubba Dunkerson of Philipsburg got a ride as his horse ran to the other side of the arena before it started to buck.

MEMBERSHIP FEES ANNOUNCED FOR 2015

As a reminder, all personnel and stock contractor memberships for the 2014 season have expired and are now due for the 2015 season.  You may fill out an application online and call the office with your credit card, or alternatively mail a check to the EPB office at PO Box 340, Laurel, MT 59044. All applications must be filled out completely and signed along with a signed waiver & release form and submitted with payment to the EPB Office. Rates have changed as listed below:  

 

Rider card $50.00
Personnel card $100.00
Contractor Card $100.00
One time Permit $50.00

 

If you are planning on participating in ONE event for the 2015 season you MUST purchase the One Time Permit.  The application is available on the website and must be filled out and signed along with the waiver & release and submitted to the office.  The option must be PAID with the office BEFORE the event.  This permit will NOT be available for purchase at an EPB event.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the EPB Office at 1-888-776-5609 press 2, or email secretary@eliteprobullriders.com.

CRISIS FUND APPLICATION AVAILABLE
The Rider Relief Fund has an application that is available. Please click HERE to access the application, print, fill out and return with any documentation to the EPB Office.
